With my recent reinvigoration of interest in William Basinski's disintegration loops, I thought I might try my hand at making a tape loop of my own. All I had at my disposal though was a Craig brand dictaphone with an already well-used microcassette in it. After many frustrating hours of trying to splice together a loop, I got one that stuck. These two tracks are the same tape loop. The first is played at normal speed and then the second at half speed. I just let the recorder play until it stopped on its own.
